The Role:
As a Commercial Lines Administrative Assistant, you are passionate about providing excellent client service, have a strong commitment to effective communication, teamwork and collaboration, hold a high standard for ethical conduct and prefer a hands-on work style. This position requires an individual who is comfortable working at a varying pace, addressing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, adjusting priorities often, and managing frequent interruptions.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide quality service to our Commercial Insurance clients
- Review and process changes needed for clients accounts
- Process client files – cancellations, reinstatements and renewals
- Prepare and send invoices; process payments.
- Prepare policy related documentation, forms and certificates.
- Prepare and provide coverage/premium comparisons to Account Managers and Account Executives on renewal or new business
- Quote, issue and maintain finance contracts in the broker management system.
- Support the Account Managers and Account Executives through workflows, client files, and in filing/updating documentation in our broker management system as required.
- Review receivables, reports, and downloads timely.
What You Bring:
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in an administrative and/or client service role
- A combination of education, skills and experience will be considered
- CAIB designation or experience in the Insurance Industry would be an asset
- Level 2 Agent License or working toward
- Experience in a Commercial environment would be an asset
- Strong experience using word processing and office productivity suites like MS365
- Experience using broker management systems (Applied EPIC) is considered an asset
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated with a natural ability to deliver excellence in client service
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Bilingualism, English and French, is considered an asset
How We Work:
- Primarily in-office in Fredericton or Moncton, NB
- Hybrid work option is available after 12 months (or earlier depending on experience level).
- Regular office hours are 8am to 4:30 PM AST.
- Occasional travel, off-site meetings and overtime as required.
