The Commercial Lines Account Manager (AM) is the day-to-day liaison between the insurance company and clients. This includes responding to and requesting changes from our insurance partners to meet our clients’ needs, addressing various coverage inquiries, reporting claims, and handling inside service work associated with clients’ accounts.

This role involves significant priority management, collaboration, teamwork, adaptability, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to clearly communicate and document files. The AM is also innovative, and solutions focused while providing excellent service when dealing with both internal and external clients.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Business, or related field or college diploma in insurance brokerage ( i.e. CAIB, CIP or RIBO) is preferred. A combination of education, skills and experience will be considered.
• Level 2 Agent License or working toward.
• Broker/Insurance Industry experience: 1-3 years required for Small Commercial, and 5+ years required for Large Commercial.
• Client service experience: 1-3 years required for Small Commercial, and 5+ years required for Large Commercial
• Experience in the construction, real estate, manufacturing and/or technology classes of business
• Must have strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
• Strong experience using word processing and office productivity suites like MS365.
• Experience using Applied EPIC is considered an asset.
• A self-starter and takes initiative.
• Bilingualism is an asset.

Working Conditions

• Some travel may be required.
• Conducting presentations and meetings is required. (in person / virtual and formal and informal)
• Some overtime is expected due to the nature of the role. Regular office hours are 8am to 4:30 PM AST.
• Remote/Hybrid work environment availability. Participation in regular in office environment required.

Work Location

• Fredericton or Moncton, in-office.
• Hybrid option within 12 months of employment.
